• Airport Car Rental Counters: You’ll find several reputable car rental companies at the airport, including Avis and Hertz. However, you might have to queue a bit!

For a more budget-friendly option, consider using Grab, Southeast Asia’s popular app for taxis, it works similarly to Uber. Download the app before your trip so that you are good to go as soon as you arrive.

Grab fares are typically lower than regular taxis, with prices to Sanur ranging from IDR 100,000 to IDR 150,000 (around USD 7-10). When you will get out of the airport you will see a big Grab office. You can reserve the ride from there too! Check out these apps to download before your trip too!

Pro tip: There will be independent taxi drivers coming to you, saying they will offer a better price than Grab. You can definitely go with them but make sure you check the real Grab price before discussing prices. This is because they don’t always know the price of the Grab app as it varies constantly.

Taking a taxi is another good way to get to Sanur. Upon exiting the airport, you’ll find an official taxi counter where you can book an authorised airport taxi. Instead of the counter, you can also go with one of the drivers you will meet outside the airport.
