Best Hotels In Uluwatu For Solo Travellers

Uluwatu is a dreamy place on the south coast of Bali. Looking for accommodation could turn out to be difficult because it can be costly. If you are visiting between June and August it’s actually not that easy to find a reasonably priced place so make sure to book well in advance if that’s the case.

In this blog post, I will tell you exactly where the absolute best hotels in Uluwatu are for solo travellers.

Are you ready? Let’s go!

#1 The Koroway

Best Hotels In Uluwatu For Solo Travellers - Room view from the Koroway Hotel in Uluwatu. You can see the impossible beach from the window.

Views: Amazing sea-view

Cost: £198 (depending on season)

Location: By Impossible Beach

Ideal for: Relaxation

This place is a dream. The Koroway is perfect for when you want to relax and focus on the sea, your breath and nature. If you just landed this place would be great to reset after your jet lag. This accommodation comes with a delicious restaurant and is a few steps away from Impossible Beach. The view from your room is incredible but it takes some time to reach the main road. Maybe 15 minutes walk.

#2 Radisson Blu

Best Hotels In Uluwatu For Solo Travellers. Balcony view from a view of the Redisson Blue, Uluwatu, Bali

Views: Amazing sea view or pool view depending on the room

Cost: £180

Location: Closest to Padang Padang beach

This Radisson Blu is quite pricey but you would be totally looked after and have the safest food ever! The buffet has everything you want and beyond. There is a very well equipped gym, huge swimming pool and spa. The location is great too. The hotel has a back door leading to Impossible Beach and Bingin Beach within a short walk. You could even walk to Padang Padang Beach and the main restaurants/cafes.

#3 Boho Bingin Beach

Interior design of Boho Bingin Beach hotel. The style is Balenese boho.

Views: No sea view but lovely garden view

Cost: £80

The Boho Binghin Beach is close to Bingin Beach, it comes with a pool and the design is boho-balinese. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable.

#4 Sal Secret Spot

Room view from the Sal's Spot Hotel, Uluwatu, Bali. You can see the wooden floor of the balcony and sea.

Views: Amazing sea view

Location:  Bingin Beach

Sal Secret Spot is a bit of a hike to get to unless you come from Bingin Beach. The view is amazing although is a shared terrace.

#5 Legend Beachfront Resort

Best Hotels In Uluwatu For Solo Travellers. Room view from the Legend Beach Resort in Uluwatu, Bali.

Views: Amazing sea view

Cost: £150

Location:  Bingin Beach

The Legend Beachfront Resort is located exactly by Bingin Beach. They are small apartments, really well-designed and right on the beach. Although is quite down (by the beach) it’s not too hard to go back to the main road. All you have to do is probably 10-minute steps.

#6 Sannyas Boutique Hotel

View from the rooftop of the Sunnyas Boutique Hotel in Uluwatu, Bali

Views: Amazing countryside view

Cost: £58

Location: Thomas Beach

The Sunnyas Boutique Hotel is super close to Thomas Beach (all you have to do is cross the road) the rooms are boho style and the hotel comes with a lovely swimming pool and terrace. I actually even worked from there and I have to say the wifi connection was great!

Conclusion:

If it’s your first time in Uluwatu I would recommend getting at least one accommodation by Bingin Beach or Impossible Beach so you can leave the beach after the sunset not worrying about going to the main road for food. There are plenty of places to eat by the beach and sunsets are to die for! Bear in mind I’m not sharing any hostel because every time I go to Uluwatu I really want to treat myself and be super comfortable, however, if you are on a budget, I know the Backpacker is the best hostel around. Make sure to book it well in advance because it’s really hard to get a room here!
